Nothing is taken from your card until the committee approves your application.
Membership applications are proposed by an existing member, so the committee knows who is joining. If you have bowled here before, anyone you played with can do it. If you do not know anybody yet, tick the box and we will find someone.
Paper forms are at the bar, and the office will fill one in with you over the phone.

- When am I charged?
- Only once the committee approves you. If you are not approved, the saved card is deleted and nothing is taken.
- What is a proposer?
- An existing member who recommends you. Give their name and we will check with them. If you do not know anyone yet, tick the box and the committee will assign one.
- How long does review take?
- The committee meets monthly and applications are usually decided that night. You are emailed either way.
- Can I bowl before I am approved?
- Yes. Book a session at the visitor rate of £8 any time — approval only changes the price and opens up the leagues. Book a session →
- What is the digital card?
- A card you save to your phone and show at the desk for the member rate. Paper cards are still available if you prefer.
- Can I apply on paper instead?
- Yes. Forms are at the bar, and the office will fill one in with you over the phone if that is easier. Contact the club →
