Not just bowlsWednesday is darts night
We host ADC Vaults on Wednesday evenings, in seven-week spells with a three-week break between them — and a finals night usually fills that gap.

Any empty slot can be taken as a whole, morning to evening — and the McConkey Room and Bar Lounge can be hired while bowls is on.
Check a date →Common questions
What visitors ask before coming up for an event.
- Can anyone come and watch?
- Yes. Competitions are free to watch with no ticket, seating down both sides of the greens and the bar open through the day.
- Do I need to book to spectate?
- No. Just come in. Booking is only needed if you want a rink to play on.
- When does the season run?
- September to Easter. Fixtures and competitions are listed here as soon as dates are confirmed.
- What can a beginner come to?
- Open days and pay-and-play sessions. Bowls are lent out and staff will start you off, and there is nothing to book. Indoor bowls →
- Are weekends always busy?
- Weekend hours depend on the competitions and events calendar, which is why this page is worth checking before you travel.
- Is there parking?
- Free, lit, 120 spaces at the door, with room for a coach or minibus.
- Can I book a rink?
- Ring the office on 028 94 432 937 and we will tell you what is free and put you down for it. There is no online booking — a call is the way to do it, and the calendar here shows what is already on rather than what is available.
- Can we take a whole session?
- Yes. Afternoons with rinks free are hired as a block for competitions, corporate bowls or the full arena. Venue hire →
- Where are you?
- Ballysavage Road, Parkgate, County Antrim, BT39 0DX — between Antrim and Ballyclare, five minutes off the M2 at Templepatrick.
